Currently we dress ladies from size 4 to 16.  We are looking at expanding our size 16+ size range in the near future.

Our hire prices start from $40 and go up to $200.

No, all hire prices have an additional dry cleaning fee which is $25. This is paid separately to our dry cleaners when returning your garment.

1. Book an appointment to view & try on over 500 garments at our Northbridge boutique.
2. Once you have found the garment you love, simply book it in for your event date by paying the hire fee in-store via debit or credit card.
3. Pick up your garment from the Northbridge boutique on your pick up date as advised by LBD.
4. Return on the following Monday directly to our dry cleaners (Dry Clearners address found on contact page).  LBD will then pick up your garment once it’s ready!

We generally only hire garments, although occasionally we sell some of our ex-rentals.

We run by Appointment only. Please click the ‘Book An Appointment’ link above to proceed. We generally take appointments from Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are our recommended appointment days.

We recommend booking your appointment on a Wednesday or Thursday to give yourself as many garment options as possible. Booking on a Friday, Saturday or Tuesday limits your options. Dress pickups begin on late Thursday nights and continue on both Friday and Saturday. Coming in for an appointment on either of these days may result in you missing out on your favourite garments. Mondays and Tuesdays are dry cleaning days for the dresses that have been worn over the weekend.

No, appointments are cost free.

Sure! The more the merrier, however if your friend is also looking for a dress, be sure to let us know so we can book them in too.

We accept debit or credit card payments only. Cash payments are not accepted.

Sorry ladies, we can only book a dress in for your event date with the full payment or a 50% deposit of the hire price at the very least.

Pick Ups

Yes. Please email us the full name and your relationship with the person who will be picking up on your behalf. We cannot give out a garment to anyone other then the member that the dress is booked under, unless we have written confirmation from the members email address confirming the above information.

Generally pick ups are day of or night before the event. Should your event be midweek you must pick up on the day of your event. Please contact us to discuss further options should these days/times not work for you.


No, please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself as you may risk setting the stain. All dresses are to be returned to Spotless Dry Cleaners for a professional dry clean unless advised otherwise by LBD.

Dry cleaning is $25 for all dresses. Our dry cleaner may request an extra payment should the garment be excessively soiled.

If your event is on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday garments must be returned on the following Monday directly to our dry cleaners located  at the address below. Please leave your dress under ‘Little Borrowed Dress’.

If your event is on a Thursday or Friday, you also have the option to drop off your dress on the following Friday/Saturday.
For any mid-week events please contact LBD to discuss what day and location is best to return. Any garments that are returned later than Monday may incur a $20 late fee per day. Dry cleaner location and opening hours are listed below:
