Currently we dress ladies from size 4 to 16.  We are looking at expanding our size 16+ size range in the near future.

Our hire prices start from $40 and go up to $200.

No, all hire prices have a small additional dry cleaning fee of just $10. This is to be paid at the time of booking in the dress.  LBD may permit the fee to be paid at a later date under special circumstances.

T&Cs:  Should your dress be returned in poor condition (i.e staining) an additional $15 will be requested upon returning your dress.  This is to cover excess dry cleaning fees.  The additional $15 will strictly need to be paid at the time of drop off by the person returning the dress (this includes someone returning on behalf of the hirer).  Please do not allow someone return on your behalf if they are not prepared to do so.

1. Book an appointment to view & try on over 500 garments at our Northbridge boutique.
2. Once you have found the garment you love, simply book it in for your event date by paying the hire fee in-store via debit or credit card.
3. Pick up your garment from the Northbridge boutique on your pick up date as advised by LBD.
4. Return on the following day to the Northbridge boutique or the day as advised by LBD.  We will sort the dry cleaning for you!

We generally only hire garments, although occasionally we sell some of our ex-rentals.

Appointments

We run by Appointment only. Please click the ‘Book An Appointment’ link above to proceed. We generally take appointments from Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are our recommended appointment days.

We recommend booking your appointment on a Wednesday or Thursday to give yourself as many garment options as possible. Booking on a Friday, Saturday or Tuesday limits your options. Dress pickups begin on late Thursday nights and continue on both Friday and Saturday. Coming in for an appointment on either of these days may result in you missing out on your favourite garments. Mondays and Tuesdays are dry cleaning days for the dresses that have been worn over the weekend.

No, appointments are cost free.

Yes, but please try and limit this to one friend.  Please understand that during busy periods of the year, the store can get very crowded if every customer brings in multiple friends/family.

We accept debit/credit payments, bank transfer & cash.

We do offer temporary holds on dresses should you be interested:

  1. 48 hour HOLD – $20
  2. 1 week HOLD – 30% deposit of the dress hire fee

*Please note all hold fees paid come off the hire price should you go ahead with the dress hire.  If you do not go ahead with the hire, the funds turn into a store credit which has no expiry date at LBD.  Strictly no refunds*

Pick Ups

Yes. Please email us the full name and your relationship with the person who will be picking up on your behalf. We cannot give out a garment to anyone other then the member that the dress is booked under, unless we have written confirmation from the members email address confirming the above information.

Generally pick ups are day of or night before the event. Should your event be midweek you must pick up on the day of your event. Please contact us to discuss further options should these days/times not work for you.

Returns

No, please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself as you may risk setting the stain, and damaging the garment beyond repair. All dresses are to be returned to LBD for a professional clean unless advised otherwise by LBD.

Dry cleaning is $10 for all dresses (Please read the Terms and Conditions below). This is to be paid at the time of booking in the dress.  LBD may permit the fee to be paid at a later date under special circumstances.

Sure, please contact us to arrange an appointment to bring your dresses in.
It’s also best to have the garments brand, name, size, best fits range and RRP information if you know this.

Please email us any images of the garment as well as garment information (brand, size, RRP) if you have it. We will be able to advise you if it is suitable.
